Candidates who have successfully cleared the Common Written Test (CWT) can now download their admit cards to participate in the next stage of the selection process.
1. Admit Card Release Date and Examination Schedule
- Admit Card Release: May 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM
- Oral/Viva Voce Dates: From May 9, 2025
- Exam Venue: As specified on the individual admit cards
Candidates are advised to download their admit cards promptly and note the examination venue and reporting time.
2. How to Download the Admit Card
To access the admit card:
- Visit the official SLPRB website: slprbassam.in
- Navigate to the “Admit Card” section.
- Click on the link for “Assam Police Constable (AB/UB) Oral/Viva Voce Admit Card 2025.”
- Enter your Application Number, Name, and Date of Birth.
- Submit the details to view and download your admit card.

3. Overview of the Recruitment Process
The recruitment drive aims to fill 4,903 vacancies across various departments:
- Constable (AB): 2,300 posts
- Constable (UB): 1,645 posts
- Constable (UB) in APRO: 1 post
- Constable (Communication): 204 posts
- Constable Grade-III: 269 posts
Candidates have undergone multiple stages, including Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and the Common Written Test (CWT). The Oral/Viva Voce is the subsequent phase for shortlisted candidates (AB/UB).
4. Important Instructions for Candidates
- Mandatory Documents: Carry the printed admit card and a valid photo ID to the examination center.
- Reporting Time: Arrive at the venue as per the time mentioned on the admit card. Late arrivals may not be permitted.
- COVID-19 Guidelines: Adhere to any health and safety protocols in place during the examination.
Failure to comply with these instructions may lead to disqualification from the selection process.
5. What’s Next After the Oral/Viva Voce
Post the Oral/Viva Voce, candidates applying for technical positions like Driver Constable and Boatman will undergo the Trade Proficiency Test (TPT) starting from May 14, 2025.
