In an attempt to support local candidates in their preparation for competitive exams, a free crash course coaching program aimed at aspiring candidates of the 2-Tawang ST Assembly Constituency was inaugurated at the Government Higher Secondary School, Tawang on Wednesday for the upcoming Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examinations (APPSCCE). This initiative is sponsored by Tawang MLA Namgey Tsering.
APPSCCE Inauguration Programme: Dignitaries in Attendance
The inauguration programme of the free crash course program aimed at APPSCCE aspirants was graced by a number of key dignitaries, including Deputy Commissioner of Tawang, Kanki Darang; Brigade Brigadier VS Rajput, Commander of the Tawang; Dr. DW Thongon, Superintendent of Police; Hridar Phuntsok, the District Development and Secondary Education Officer (DDSE); Kesang Norbu, Secretary General of TMEs; Pema Chowang,President of the Tawang Unit MMT; Phurpa Lama, President of the NPP Tawang District; Dorjee Norbu,Chairman of Tawang Lamps; MLA Namgey Tsering.
Quality Instruction from Experienced Educators
Two faculty members from the city of Pune, Maharashtra have been recruited to conduct the coaching program. Notable to mention, one among the two faculty has cleared the UPSC Mains thrice, while the other one has cleared the UPSC CPOs recently. The expertise of the two faculty members is expected to greatly benefit the aspiring candidates of APPSCCE in their preparations.
MLA Tsering Addresess the financial constraints of APPSCCE candidates
While addressing the audience during the inauguration ceremony , MLA Namgey Tsering took the opportunity to emphasize on the importance of making quality coaching accessible to everyone irrespective of their financial backgrounds. He remarked that financial constraints often become the obstacle when candidates are on the look for proper guidance. MLA Tsering urged that such self-help efforts should have a tangible impact to ensure civil service aspirants and candidates for various roles can overcome the barriers.
MLA Emphasises on Discipline and Punctuality
MLA Tsering, in his address, also emphasizes on discipline and punctuality of the aspirants. He stated that discipline and punctuality are the most important things and expressed hope that the coaching programme will equip the candidates with necessary skills and mindsets to ensure aspirants succeed in their civil services and army, police forces, among others. Tsering’s words of advice served as a motivational factor for the aspiring candidates present at the event.

Brigadier VS Rajput and Deputy Commissioner Kanki Darang reiterated their commitment to supporting the youth of Tawang.
