The Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board (GMDWSB) has announced recruitment for 12 positions under the South East Guwahati Water Supply Project (SEGWSP). This initiative aims to strengthen the city’s water supply infrastructure by bringing in skilled professionals across various roles.
Available Positions
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)
- Vacancies: 2
- Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or AICTE-affiliated institution. A postgraduate degree is advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years in civil works, with at least 6 years in externally aided water supply projects. Preference for experience in surface water source projects and field execution.
- Age Limit: Up to 60 years
- Remuneration: ₹50,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month
- Assistant Engineer (Civil)
- Vacancies: 4
- Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or AICTE-affiliated institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in civil works, with at least 4 years in externally aided water supply projects. Preference for experience in surface water source projects and field execution.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years
- Remuneration: ₹40,000 – ₹70,000 per month
- Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Vacancies: 4
- Qualifications: 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or AICTE-affiliated institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in civil works related to water supply. Preference for field execution experience and involvement in externally aided projects.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years
- Remuneration: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month
- Senior Administrative Assistant
- Vacancies: 1
- Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in administrative roles within government sectors/projects. Preference for experience in externally aided projects under the Government of Assam.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years
- Remuneration: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month
- Grade IV Staff
- Vacancies: 1
- Qualifications: Minimum 8th standard pass.
- Experience: At least 1 year in relevant fields. Preference for candidates with additional skills like driving, plumbing, or cooking.
- Age Limit: Up to 55 years
- Remuneration: ₹14,000 – ₹22,000 per month
