Rupali Ganguly has received support from Rajan Shahi, the producer of the Anupamaa show. Actress Rupali Ganguly, who plays Anu in Rajan Shahi’s hit program Anupamaa, has been in the news since being charged by her stepdaughter Esha Verma. Esha claimed that she developed a neglected need for a father’s affection and protection as a child. She also said that Rupali threatened her and held her responsible for her father’s failed marriage. In a string of posts, Esha referred to Rupali as a “home-wrecker.” She even claimed that Rudransh, her son, was illegitimate. Rupali quickly filed a Rs 50 crore defamation lawsuit against Esha.
Rajan Shahi Supports Anupama
Rajan Shahi commended her diligence, modesty, and poise. He also mentioned that the whole teams of Director’s Kut and Deepa Shahi Productions was proud of Rupali. He went on to say that having a performer like her on his shows was fantastic. Rajan Shahi’s post, however, follows Pearl Grey, his ex-wife, endorsing Rupali in an interview. It would have been different, according to Pearl, if a child had claimed what Esha did, but this was not forgivable. Rajan Shahi also took to social media platform Instagram to support Rupali, dedicating a post to her. Rajan’s comments section was quickly filled with compliments after he supported Rupali. One user wrote, ‘This was much needed. How gracefully she maintained her dignity with silence and how strongly she stood up when it was the best choice! You couldn’t find a better Anupama, literally…’.”
Another user said, ‘Very nice to see production standing up with supporting their FL artist when they need the most’. The Esha Vs Rupali Fight
Ashwin Verma and his first wife, Sapna, are the parents of 26-year-old Esha Verma. In 2013, Rupali Ganguly married Ashwin, and the two of them have a son named Rudransh. Esha said in a video that Rupali was a “bully” and that she had an affair with her father while still married to her mother, which sparked the argument. In this since-deleted video, Esha bemoaned her sense of desertion and attacked Ashwin and Rupali for how they had treated her in her early years. “They chose to hurt me… they never apologized to me,” she said.
Following Esha’s claims, Rupali Ganguly’s legal team sent out a defamation notice demanding Rs 50 crore as compensation. Esha’s remarks, according to the notice, were not only false but also detrimental to Rupali’s personal and professional life. Sana Raees Khan, Rupali’s lawyer, claims that the actress has experienced serious emotional distress as a result of these charges, as well as losses in her career. Rupali had first opted to keep quiet out of respect for her dignity, but the notice also made clear that she felt obliged to speak up once her son was drawn into the dispute.
Esha’s Reaction
Esha erased the video that contained her accusations and made her Instagram account private after the defamation notice was issued. In spite of this, she later sent a letter to her fans thanking them for their support and announcing that she would be letting the incident go. She said she feels “protected” in America, where she lives now.
